Play therapy helps children explore and understand their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours in a safe and supportive environment. In my therapy room, children are given the freedom to engage in unstructured play activities with a variety of toys and art materials. Through play, children have the opportunity to express themselves, work through emotional conflicts, and explore their inner world at their own pace.
My approach draws from multiple therapeutic techniques and theories to tailor treatment to the individual needs of clients. It emphasises the integration of different therapeutic modalities rather than adhering strictly to one particular approach. The goal of integrative therapy is to address the complexities of the human experience and promote holistic healing by considering the interconnectedness of one's mind, emotions, relationships, history and current environment.
Career assessments are tools used in career counseling and development to help individuals gain insight into their interests, personality traits, values, skills, and aptitudes as they relate to various career options and educational pursuits. I administer these assessments to provide individuals with valuable information and self-awareness to make informed decisions about their subject choices, career paths and professional goals.
